Occupational Safety and Health (OSH)

The workplace is changing faster than ever, employers face growing complexities in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) compliance, ethical standards, and rapidly shifting risks. The International Labor Organization (ILO) recognizes a safe and healthy working environment as a fundamental principle and right at work. OSH can no longer be an “optional extra” for employers around the globe.

The USCIB Foundation and the International Organisation of Employers (IOE) have partnered to further advance OSH over the course of a 2-year project to develop reports and tools for employers on two rapidly emerging issues:

  • Year 1: Artificial Intelligence (AI): AI & Digitalisation in the workplace: how businesses can navigate its impact in OSH strategies to build safer, smarter workplaces
  • Year 2: Heat Stress: how businesses can manage heat risks to protect workers and sustain productivity

This project will equip businesses with timely, practical guidance to stay ahead of the related challenges and opportunities — helping them protect workers, maintain trust, and ensure resilience in a volatile environment.

Supporting this initiative means taking a leadership role in shaping global standards at a critical moment, demonstrating foresight and commitment to responsible business while driving solutions that strengthen both companies and societies worldwide.
